Graduation Deadlines

The following are graduation deadlines for the next four semesters:

SPRING 2007

  • Graduation/Title Forms - March 2, 2007
  • Completion of Requirements Forms - April 27, 2007
  • *Extension Week - April 30-May 4, 2007
  • Graduation Date - May 5, 2007

SUMMER 2007

  • Graduation/Title Forms - June 29, 2007
  • Completion of Requirements Forms - July 27, 2007
  • *Extension Week - July 30-August 3, 2007
  • Graduation Date - August 3, 2007                             

FALL  2007

  • Graduation/Title Forms - October 17, 2007
  • Completion of Requirements Forms - December 7, 2007
  • *Extension Week - December 10-14, 2007
  • Graduation Date - December 14, 2007

SPRING 2008

  • Graduation/Title Forms - March 7, 2008
  • Completion of Requirements Forms - May 2, 2008
  • *Extension Week - May 5-9, 2008
  • Graduation Date - May 10, 2008

 

*The Extension Week is an opportunity for those students who miss the Completion of Requirements Form/Graduation deadline to complete their degree requirements without redoing many of the steps required for graduation.  Students will automatically be considered Extension Week graduate if they turn in their Completion of Requirements form to the Graduate School during the week after the Graduation deadline.  There is no additional paperwork.  Students will be charged a late graduation fee, which will be the equivalent of one hour of continuous registration ($40).  A bill for this late graduation fee will be mailed to the student by Accounts Receivable.  The Extension Week graduate

  • Will not actually graduate until the end of the following semester,
  • Will not have to enroll for the following semester (if a student does enroll for the following semester the tuition will replace the late graduation fee)
  • Will not have to turn in a new Graduation/Title form, and
  • Will not have to have another degree check done.
