Teacher Certification Program for Post Baccalaureate Students with an option to earn a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction

The College of Education is pleased to announce a new teacher certification program for those interested in pursuing a teaching career. The Teacher Certification Program for Post Baccalaureate Students with an option to earn a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction offers an opportunity to complete courses required for teacher certification while earning credits toward an optional Master of Arts degree. The three semester program begins in the summer session and continues into the fall semester culminating with student teaching in the spring semester.

Interested applicants must meet all prerequisites prior to beginning the summer courses. The Office of Teacher Education will evaluate transcripts to determine the number of prerequisite courses required (see Transcript Evaluation Fee for more information). An application (http://www.uwyo.edu/ted/forms.asp) to the program must be submitted no later than 5:00 PM on the first Friday in December to meet the deadline for the following summer.
