Printable Article Email this Article

Students in Allen Trent's "Meaning in Art" class this fall created birdhouses representing the style and techniques of favorite artists. Their works took center stage at an installation in the Education Building lobby late this semester. The exhibit  was titled "The Birdhouse Project: An Installation of Appropriated Aviaries."

Following is a virtual display of several of their works. Click on the first set of links to hear Dr. Trent describe different aspects of the project. Click on the "audio" link next to each student's name to hear the student describe the work.
