How would advocacy be different -- for the advocates and the causes they wish to advance -- if a different approach to the work were taken? Counselor education graduate students Johnna Nunez (right, doctoral candidate) and Eirin Grimes (left, first-year doctoral student) offered an alternative during a workshop titled "Mindfulness in Advocacy: The Buddha Way" during the 2009 UW Teaching Creativity conference.
