Wilcox receives Milken Award

Walt Wilcox (left, BA '93) doctoral student in educational leadership, is the latest Wyoming educator to receive the prestigious Milken Educator Award. Wilcox, principal at Casper's Dean Morgan Junior High School, was among 75 honorees featured at a gala held in their honor in Los Angeles. The Milken Educator Awards were established in 1987, to recognize exceptional K-12 teachers, principals and other professionals. The program "strives to attract, develop, motivate and retain talented people to the challenge and adventure of teaching."
