Kappa Delta Pi National Honor Society

Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) strives to maintain a high degree of professional fellowship among its members, to quicken professional growth, and honor achievements in educational work. KDP invites to membership persons who exhibit commendable professional qualities, worthy educational ideals, and sound scholarship, without regard to race, age, color, religion, sex, or disability. To apply, you must be an education major with a GPA of 3.0 or above.

Student Council for Exceptional Children

The Student Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC) strives to educate members on issues related to the education of people with special needs. SCEC provides a fun way for members to become actively involved with exceptional children and adults in the community. In addition, SCEC provides hands-on experience, leadership training, and professional development. Membership is open to all UW students.

The Student Wyoming Education Association (SWEA) is a branch of the Wyoming Education Association and the National Education Association. All College of Education students are eligible for membership and member benefits such as: networking with professionals at the local, state, and national levels; publications such as NEA Today; workshops; conferences; and leadership development.
